There were so many people at the Comet fair that I nearly suffocated because of insufficient air. I had no idea why people always buy printers at IT fair every year. Why printers? I mean, how many printers does one household actually need?? One, right? Not one EVERY IT fair. And it's not as if the printers are dirt cheap during the fair. I actually saw one woman lugging TWO printers of different brands to a taxi stand today. Why would she need two printers with different brands? She can't even inter-exchange the ink catridges, for goodness sake.
Anyway, printers aside. I bought an ADSL modem router and ethernet switch today. After reading through the installation manual, I even felt confident to set up a LAN network at home. But there is one problem.
Apparently, the ethernet switch works on LAN, and I just realised I do not have a freaking network interface card for the LAN port. Argh!!!
