Back to work // Listening to: Chantal Kreviazuk - Leaving on a Jet Plane
After a week of rotting, I will be officially back to work tomorrow. Which, I'm not exactly very enthusiastic about. I don't know how many times have I said this, but, I.SO.DO.NOT.WANT.TO.WORK.TOMORROW.
I also hate the idea of sleeping now and waking to the thought of having to work. I can be THAT much in denial.
It doesn't help when what was meant to be a week's of tidying & packing of The Garbage Room and saving money hiding at home turned out to be a week's of overspending. I think I spent more this week than any other week. I splurged on cosmetics, clothes, shoes, KTV, steamboat dinner, friend's birthday, hairdresser trip, upcoming Genting trip, clubbing, sign up new Yoga lessons, blah blah blah. I'm so going to die.....I'm so going to eat grass for the rest of the month til next payday, which doesn't help alot since the pay is so meagre.
Anyway, yesterday we went to watch Initial D. I do not know how to make a good movie review, especially since I just caught snippets of the original Anime the movie was derived from, by watching with Mr Eeyore sometime back. So I shall just say that the actors are all so cool & cute, and the movie was sort of funny, gathering from the laughs you hear in the cinema. Jay was cool. Edison was cool. I even thought Jay's father, Anthony was cool too. The puking guy (I don't know his name) was not really cool though, but funny.
After movie, we went to East Coast for dinner at this restaurant called "Hawaiian BBQ". Needless to say, we had hawaiian bbq for dinner. Food was relatively nice, especially when you don't have to bbq your own food, hah. Ambience was not bad, with guitar music and gentle sea breezes blowing as we ate. Then again, I thought that the young singer on stage could have been better sitting down eating rather than "torturing" us with his badly accentuated singing. I can be so bad at times.
We got to know this "Auntie Alice" who started relating her exciting work experiences. Now we all know how rejecting a cocktail in a pub can be such a big hooha thing. We also know how bouncers love to fight since they are sort of "legalized to fight". Or so I think.
Anyway, the strawberry margarita from the adjacent beach pub was horrible. I should have rejected it, hor?
Finally.... //Listening to: Black Eyed Peas - Let's Get It Started
My modem died on me some weeks ago, and I'm left with no Internet access. That sucks.
Being the procrastinator I was, I left it till today to get it up and running. It doesn't help that my stupid brother only rant and rant for me to get it fixed up. I'm like, why don't YOU get it fixed up instead??
Anyway, I'm back to no LAN access, but solo internet access, meaning having to wait patiently for my turn to use the internet. Argh!
I'm typing rubbish, too long a break from blogging. I'm going to the hairdresser, then to a steamboat dinner.
