K and me have been trying to catch Rapunzel on screen for the longest time but have yet to find time to do so.
During Christmas, we've finally decided to catch it on Tuesday after work. But fate has it that the timing sucks and I'm still recovering from my bad flu, and thus, plan failed.
Today, K messaged to tell me that the timing is a hell lot better today but alas, branch dinner for me and we did not manage to catch it AGAIN! Just as we were resigned to watching it on dvd, our messages spurred on to a totally different topic, which goes on like this...
K: Really have to wait for the discs liao...
Me: Yea, I guess so..
K: Nvm, my jie fu not keen. so any other sugg?
(and no, our whole conversation did not mention abt any jie fu or suggestions whatsoever)
K: My sis hubby lar.. any sugg?
Me: I noe what is jie fu! But we were talking abt rapunzel rem?
K: Oh ya hor! Haha, asking abt new year eve plans lar!
Duh, I think all my friends are like that. They NEVER give signals for changing topics! Dangerous road hazards!
Anyways, K never ever gives up and we finally can watch Rapunzel tomorrow! Shall keep my fingers crossed!
It sucks to be sick on boxing day, or post boxing day, as a matter of fact. Especially, when you're off and intended to get out for some fresh Christmas air and shopping!
Apparently, the body reckons an off day at work is equivalent to an off day for the immune system as well. That explains the continuous sneezing and forever running nose. I swear I've never sneezed so many freaking times in my life before! It's like 342348203849283402834 times, continuously, consecutively, whatever-ly for a straight 2 hours. A hiatus of like, 10 minutes ensue before it starts all over again.
