Shopping day~!Went shopping with the colleagues today and emerged as the winner! The one who spent the most, that is.
Why do I always spend the most even though I had nothing to buy in the first place?!
Argh! I'm such a spendthrift!
PS always ends up as the devil who asks you to buy buy buy and she ended up buying almost nothing. She clocked the record at S$5.90 for a hairband. Like that is a lot.
J came in second last with 2 pairs of shoes at S$56, I think.
F was very disciplined coz she declined buying anything after her Crumpler backpack at S$75. She rounded up the day by buying another S$30 worth of Royce chocolates. So S$105 in all, I guess.
Now me, the one who didn't expect to buy anything except my skincare face gel ended up buying:
1) Skincare acne gel @ S$20
2) Etthusais loose powder @ S$60.80
3) A pair of shoes @ S$29.90
4) Kiehl's lip gloss @ S@26
Total damage? S$136.70!!! Excluding other random stuffs like eating and nitty gritty. Now, if I wanted to make excuses, I would say # 1 & #2 are like totally essentials. No?
Haiz, shopping is evil!
On a sidenote, we went to the Luk Yu Teahouse @ Ion for morning dim sum today. Everything with prawn is superb coz firstly, I like prawn and secondly, their prawns are fresh & succulent. Too bad I was so busy eating I forgot to take pictures.
I took one of the egg tarts though.
They have a variety of egg tarts and we ended up ordering the original and green tea. In my opinion, the original was way much better and the crust is really crispy. A must try for the sweet toothed!
Now, if you'd excuse me, I shall go whine in denial again about going back to work tomorrow.
