BlurYou know you deserve the title of being "
blur queen" when you thought that you forgot the keys, and waited at the door for your family members to come back. After waiting about half hour or so, you get frustrated coz' nobody ever picks up your call for help, including
Mr Eeyore, you empty the contents of your bag out of sheer boredom.
And then, you realized the keys are there all along.

Memoirs of a GeishaI just caught Memoirs of a Geisha today.
Personally, I think the movie is ok only, a bit on the lengthy side, but perhaps it's just because the book itself is lengthy as well. I don't remember much about the original story written in the book to actually compare if there are any "
discrepancies". I guess I should find some time to re-read the book again. That was like 4 years ago since I read that book!
Anyway, I've always wondered why a Japanese would have blue-grey eyes, like, why I don't have?! I'm also Asian
what. The color of rain, they say. I also want....
I think that the gal starring as
Little Chiyo in the movie is quite beautiful. Must be a babe in future.
In other matters, I was crossing the road today and this woman was carrying a tote with a bunch of
dunno-what flowers protruding from the tote and swinging like nobody's business. I swear to God that the bunch of freaking flowers protruding out was about an arm's length and any non-suspicious person will get his/her face hit by the stupid flowers. Everybody walking past her was trying to get their face out of her way, like, "
siam" suddenly. She was like, STILL oblivious to it, and continued talking with her friend.
At one point, I had this intention to grab the freaking flowers and stomp on them, then apologize to her innocently, "
Sorry ah, your flowers just happened to drop on the floor, and I so happened to step on them. But lucky you, the cars have not run over them yet, if not will be in a sorrier state...."
Sometimes, I'm like so evil.

Dinner at Pepper LunchThe other day, I was having dinner at this concept restaurant,
Pepper Lunch with my friend. She was telling me that it's like the latest teppanyaki dining in vogue.
Beef with corn rice
Chicken & Salmon
I don't know what is so fantastic about this
Pepper Lunch, but I always see a long queue forming. Seriously, I think that the staffs are having problems coordinating and managing their queue effectively because I see numerous empty tables when I enter the restaurant.
In actual fact, I don't know whether to term
Pepper Lunch as a restaurant, fast food or whatever, because the style is somewhat like fast food, but yet prices are like restaurant level. On second thoughts, I think it's more expensive than the mid-range restaurants lor! I mean, at least those mid-range restaurants cook and serve the food for you. At
Pepper Lunch, you cook your own freaking food and end up smelling like BBQ food for the rest of the day. The freaking food on the hotplate and drink cost me $15 in total. I think I'm being overcharged lor!
The whole restaurant was actually quite noisy with all the “
Zzzz Zzz” sizzling sounds on the hotplate. People were busy concentrating on cooking their food to notice that they are actually overcharged. Quite chaotic actually.
Anyway, although the wait in the queue was quite long, we didn't have to wait uber long for our food though. I mean, essentially, they just need to cut the meat and dump it together with the vegetables on the hotplate, then serve. Like, how long could this take?! They don't have to cook mah! We cook ourselves! The enthusiastic waiter who brings the food to your table will then “teach” you how to cook your food. "
You spread the special butter on the meat, cook for a minute, then start on the vegetables. Only add the special sauces when your food is cooked.” I suppose they repeat these instructions umpteen times per day.
I think Japanese people are very clever to come up with this concept. They charge restaurant prices for fast food to be cooked by customers themselves. Cool right?
Which brings me to this, I was telling my friend,"
Hey, this concept so clever hor! I think it suits me lor, that is, if I open a restaurant. I don't know how to cook mah. So I shall start a restaurant with a similar concept, then tell people that I have ultra special butter and ultra special sauces that will bound to make your food uber delicious! I just need to prepare the vegetables and maybe marinate the meat a bit. Maybe the marinating part, I will engage Mr Eeyore to do it. He's better at these stuffs than me. Then hor, if people say my food nice, I tell them it's because of my ultra special butter and ultra special sauces. If they say not nice hor, I tell them it's because they don't know how to cook lor! Try harder next time! No need to stress about how good the food will taste, it shall be their individual style and responsibility. Like, cool right?”
Granted, the food is actually ok, but not much variety. They only have like 95% beef dishes (which I don't take) and remaining 5% chicken and salmon. Actually, if I don't remember wrongly, that 5% is like only 4 dishes. Talk about variety.
I guess I will not be stepping into
Pepper Lunch for quite sometime. That is, until I want to try some cooking on my own.

Huge dinnerThe other day, my mum was cooking noodles for us.
I suppose she thinks I'm a pig or something.
That huge bowl of noodles actually consist of 10+ freaking fish balls, numerous slices of fish cakes, crab meat, broccoli, tomato, meat and some random what's not.
I ate that freaking huge bowl of noodles from 8pm to 10.30pm, and I can't finish it all. I was like so full to the brim I nearly vomited.
Knowing full well that my mum would most probably kill me if I threw the leftovers, I waited for another half hour for her to return to her room and with my amazing speed, I managed to "
settle" everything without any traces whatsoever.
I know this post is like so bo-liao, but anyway, that's a secret k?
The wastage of food, that is.

I love training but not with her...I just want to make it to note that it was appalling to attend training with an irritating and obnoxious fellow.
Perhaps, more about it later...

满足
其实, 我是个容易满足的女孩。
在大雨天, 享用一碗热腾腾的板面也足以让我感觉幸福。
幸福 就是这么简单。

Park Shin Yang Fanatic
//Listening to: Lover's Concerto - MimangI think I'm fanatically in love with
Park Shin Yang in
Lovers in Paris <<巴黎恋人>>.
The K-drama is the best I've watched so far, I tell you. You will fall in love with him after watching it.
At one point, I was looking at the box cover and thinking, "
What is so great about this actor? Not very handsome what?!"
After watching I realised, he's charismatic indeed. Must be the spectacles and dimple, I guess.
And then it dawned on me that I must have this secret love for guys who wear spectacles. Somehow, there is that indescribable charm when guys wear spectacles.
Perhaps that's why I always tell
Mr Eeyore that he looks better wearing spectacles instead of contact lenses.
I didn't know that I can be such a fanatic at a grand age of
24 23.
At this point, I'm still abit
Korean-crazy.
A-ja!
